Only Uncle Charlie Can Pull a Headliner Spot with a 3 Day Notice

Written by Super User on . Posted in Because Events Rock Blog

Did you see this?! The team at Jazz in the Gardens JUST announced a few minutes ago that no other than Uncle Charlie Wilson will be headlining Saturday night's Jazz in the Gardens show, replacing Aretha Franklin. I could hear him now..."Look now, I was just in Plant City for the Strawberry Festival and I'm already here...y'all sure you don't need me?" But then it makes you think how much pull does Charlie have to take off the Queen of Soul off the bill? Or did she cancel at the last minute and Charlie JUST happened to be available?! I dunno but I am SURE ticket sales will definitely go up in the next couple of days! If you haven't seen Charlie Wilson live, please make it a point to check him out. He puts on an amazing show!

Will you be at Jazz in the Gardens this year? If not, are you going now?! Let us know! #CuzEventsRock

Beyonce Announces Formation World Tour after Super Bowl 50 Performance

Written by Super User on . Posted in Because Events Rock Blog

This chick right here.....I will say that her marketing and PR team are the true GOATs (greatest of ALL time) on how they dropped "Formation" single yesterday, performed it at the Super Bowl halftime performance, AND if they didnt think that was enough, have a #FormationWorldTour commercial RIGHT after the performance with ColdPlay and Bruno Mars! The BeyHive and other part time fans screams and jumped when she came on. But when that commercial came across that screen, many folks (including me) almost passed out on the announcement! This is a GREAT weekend for Music Lovers! Will you be at the #FormationWorldTour ?? #CuzEventsRock

NEW MUSIC: Missy Elliott "Pep Rally" gives us a little Mardi Gras Bounce/Go-Go Music Vibe

Written by Super User on . Posted in Because Events Rock Blog

Now you KNOW this weekend has been buzzing with new music! First we get the bomb dropped on a lazy Saturday afternoon from Beyonce with "Formation" and NOW Missy Elliott says "Guess What?! I got one for you just in time for Super Bowl 50 and Mardi Gras." This New Orleans Uptown/Downtown Bounce song "Pep Rally" got me jiggin' and catching the wall (for those who have ever partied, lived, attended college anywhere in Louisiana would understand). It definitely has a little Go-Go feel to it as well so its definitely a dance track. Check it out and let us know what you think!
